Los Angeles, CA. Cardinal Roger Mahony violates his own office when calling for his priests to defy U. S. Immigration Laws. This according to Stanley Interrante, host of the "Catholic News & Views" Radio show, when he appeared in a seven minute rebuttal video blog with Cardinal Mahony on the Full Disclosure Network® (FDN). This rebuttal video blog is available for viewing FREE as a public service of FDN. Also appearing on the video blog is L. A. County Sheriff Lee Baca and host Leslie Dutton.
In this video, Cardinal Roger Mahoney described the Church's immigration role: "the Church is not the Border Patrol, I cannot be concerned how they got here, I need to find out how I can serve them."
Interrante, whose radio program is featured on EWTN International Satellite on St. Joseph's Radio, founded by Mother Angelica, is also a retired Fraud Detective from the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Citing specific doctrine from the Catechism, Interrante demonstrates what is seen as a conflict in Cardinal Mahony's position and that of Catholic Church teachings.
Shortly after Cardinal Mahony's statements were reported by the media, Father Michael Gutierrez at St. Anne Catholic Church in Santa Monica was quoted in the as saying that his church would welcome immigrants, regardless of any laws Congress may pass. "This is not our Law" he said, "we follow God's Law."
The Full Disclosure® video new blog shows various protester signs and messages which feature communist agitator Che Gueverra and socialist slogans. Exclusive video coverage of the April 2006 Costa Mesa demonstration includes Teamster Union Officials who rally the immigrant crowd to stirring chants, and waiving flags, including Teamster Official Patrick Kelley who was a speaker on the platform, urging undocumented aliens to become citizens.
Moderated by Leslie Dutton, the Full Disclosure® video news blogs are produced by the independent public affairs television program and billed as "the news behind the news". Featured on 43 cable systems and the worldwide Internet website www.fulldisclosure.net, in 2002 the program was presented with a public affairs Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences entitled "L.A.'s War Against Terrorism". Channels and airtimes can be found on the website.

This corrupt so called wann be "cardinal" should get shipped to mexico and let him live there if he loves the illegals so much.
Someone should tell him that his stupid religion is over anyway, and no one takes him and his molesting team of priest seriosly anyway.
If he had any balls, he would be hung by them.

I think all illegal immigrants should not be tolerated and allowed to live and work here! There is enough "LEGAL IMMIGRANTS" here to do the AG work that we need them for but they are taking restaurant, gardening, construction and any other jobs that legal Americans need and want!Just like cockroaches they are having millions of babies and moving here to stay and take over!NO,NO,NO!!This is all wrong and we need to deport the illegal ones and they can get in line like what the law says! There country wouldn't let Americans go there and try to live and work!! This is all BULL....!

This guy is violating God's commandments in the Holy Scriptures and should be disciplined by the Church!
Romans 13:
"1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."

people and took our land were criminals
expulsed from europa. and by the way, the only requirement to enter
into my territory, (which is America) was that must free of infectious illness and fleas.

Illegal immigration is multifaceted. Along with illegals seeking work come criminals, drug traffickers and terrorists. Is the cardinal concerned about the Americans who not only pay the monumental expenses of illegals but are victimized by the crime and drugs and who become vulnerable because of possible terrorism. Three of the terrorists planning an attack on our soldiers at Fort Dix NJ were illegal aliens.

Another reason to drive Catholics away from the church. To outsiders we're just a bunch of pedophile protecting whacko's. Now we advocate breaking the law. Next we'll be plotting to overthrow the government. What a bunch of nuts - yet the loyal parishoners give literally MILLIONS of their hard earned dollars to support what? Illegal activity? To pay the hush money or the plane ticket to send these child molesting freaks out of the country and away from prosecution? Hopefully, God WILL sort it all out at the Pearly Gates . Makes me sick and ashamed to admit I was raised catholic.....

Cardinal Mahoney is very misguided and should be removed from his post....simple as that. His past shady dealings are more than enough for me to not listen to what he has to say as a Catholic. It is the sheep of our society that will blindly follow what this man has to say. I just read in another comment posting that he is the Patron Saint of Kiddy Fiddlers. A mildly humorous way of putting it. It would be quite humorous save for the fact that he was responsible for destroying children's lives. Sadly, the Vatican will do nothing, I'm sure.

"Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house." Proverbs 6:30-31
Even desperate circumstances don't make a lawless act moral.
Jesus would never condone an exodus of a people to the United States, many of whom must rely on assistance from U.S. taxpayers for food, shelter, clothing, education, medicine and travel. America already has a large and growing underclass who are more apt to feel the deleterious effects of business' reliance on illegal immigrant labor and less able to do anything about it. 25 million Americans do not have jobs, including 40 percent of black males. The numbers are growing. What is the Church doing to help this segment of our citizenry move beyond poverty? Is real progress being made?
Making immigration policy is a legitimate role for civil government, not the Church. It falls under civil authority's responsibility to determine how many people, and on what basis, by what priorities, through what process to regulate the visitation, permanent residence, and acquisition of citizenship of foreigners.
I will encourage my Catholic and non-Catholic family and friends to look at the realities and consequences of the Church's one-sided "solution" to this problem and to communicate their thoughts with church leadership and with their elected representatives. I will also invite everyone to look at the Church's political posturing in this arena while being mindful of its current tax-exempt status. It seems to me the Church's participation is beginning to cross the line.

Let's see what happens when Mahoney gets indicted for obstruction of justice on the clerical abuse issue. Mahoney is 100% WRONG on most issues.
