I am a correctional officer and if they are not kept apart you have fights and stabbings. Whats more co's have the legal burden of protecting them from each other.

the government is doing as always. letting someone else do their job. why are these illegals allowed to stay and get the same treatment as us? this is gisregard for our laws by our own government.

I believe the Federal Gov. needs to provide for the illegal aliens that OVER CROWD our prisons. I also believe that the Feds should house them in the FEDERAL PRISONS as soon as they are in custody.. They should be tried for all the charges at the Fed. level because of the immigration issues.. PROTECT OUR BOARDERS... THAT’S A NATIONAL THREAT!!!

If you are going to talk about overcrowding then talk about overcrowding not immigration. Nothing on overcrowding it was asome numbers in the jail are high how cares what the color of skin. Howmany inmates are kept in a jail made for.

You know working in Detention Centers in the Albuquerque Area. I have worked with State and Federal inmates. Corrections can be a really full filling Profession to providing a service to the Public.
