LAPD, OFFICIALS SPEAK OUT ON SPECIAL ORDER 40 & ILLEGALS
Full Disclosure Network® Video Blog 8:52 min.
Release Date: July 30, 2006

Los Angeles, CA - In the City which at one time declared itself a "sanctuary" for illegal aliens, former LAPD Chief Daryl Gates describes in a two part Full Disclosure® series how illegal aliens shot and killed police officers while the Department waited for Federal authorities to enforce immigration law at the border and on the streets of Los Angeles. Here is a FREE nine minute video preview of the series available on the internet 24/7, on demand, as a public service of the Full Disclosure Network.

The primary focus of the series is the LAPD's Special Order 40 policy of don't ask, don't tell when dealing with illegal immigrants that was enacted in 1979 under LAPD Chief Daryl Gates and continues to this day.

Appearing in the video series are:

  • L. A. County Sheriffs Sherman Block and Leroy Baca
  • LAPD Chief Daryl Gates
  • LAPD Chief Bayan Lewis
  • LAPD Chief Bernard Parks
  • Assistant LAPD Chief (ret) David Gascon (commentator)
  • Deputy LAPD Chief Art Lopez (ret)
  • Police Commission Presidents David Cunningham, Rick Caruso, Edith Perez
  • L. A. County Supervisor Mike Antonovich
  • Los Angeles City Councilman Ernani Bernardi
  • INS District Director Richard K. Rogers

Featured in this preview are exclusive video clips from Full Disclosure® interviews conducted over the last ten years with the high ranking government officials directly involved in the controversial Special Order 40 policy. Both Daryl Gates and L. A. County Supervisor Mike Antonovich describe tragic circumstances where police officers died at the hands of criminals illegal aliens.

Click here for transcript of quotes.

When LAPD Deputy Chief Art Lopez was asked why the LAPD does not enforce immigration laws he told Full Disclosure® host Leslie Dutton "the City Fathers, the City Council and the Police Commission has spoken that we want to provide services to everybody, regardless of their undocumented status. Unless they break the law, then we're not going to report things to the INS."

Full Disclosure® interviews over the past fourteen years have documented the frustration and confusion of local law enforcement and U. S. Immigration officials who often complained of lack of cooperation and lack of funding as the reasons why U.S. immigration laws were not effective.

This preview of a two-part series is currently featured on on the world wide internet. Copies of the complete transcript and one hour DVD are available from the web site fulldisclosure.net

The 2002 Emmy Award winner, host Leslie Dutton, has been conducting interviews for the past fourteen years with local, state and national law enforcement officials in order to inform the public on critical police policies and procedures.

Your area is not the only ones to be experiencing these problems. This has become nationwide and needs to be DEALT with as if it were a national security issue. I think allowing local law enforcement to help with this would help immensely. Only problem is there are still departments who are balking at ICE training and I don't know why. They are so afraid of scaring the Latino population into NOT reporting crime. But when you are between the proverbial rock and hard place; I think THEIR concerns should be secondary. If you are here illegally and have not atoned FOR that; you are STILL operating illegally. Sorry.

I Called my representatives in government and INS/ICE about the May 1st rally in LA. The woman that answered the phone didn't mention this special order 40 but did say they couldn't just collect and deport the illegals. I was very upset about this as I feel all of the illegals and their kids as well should be sent back to their point of origin post haste.

LA has turned into a ghetto in some areas not fit for human habitation and the sub human illegal aliens are partly to blame for this trend in the past 20-30 years.

Our government does not seem to want to evict them from our country nor build a fence strong enough to keep them out.

And one of the reasons for this is The NAFTA NAU North American Union Superhighway that is soon to be put through from Mexico through Texas and into Canada.

See links below to understand these events better.

Google terms like NAU North American Union Superhighway and you will find what the NWO has in store for us and our American Sovereignty its a bleak future i assure you.

i find it in bad taste that such a redundant law could still exist as we approach difficult population issues that may lead to our downfall in the same manner as the roman empire. surely it makes no sense to protect what is still in our constitution, illegal. These types of desicions are what led to the impeachment of former governer Gray Davis.

S.O. 40 is nothing more than a welcome mat for illegal aliens to invade. We need to get the people who support it out of office.

The truth is we've been invaded and the police and federal government have surrendered. Special Order 40's "don't ask, don't tell" policy appears on the surface to fly in the face of law enforcement and national security - and, in increasing numbers, places citizens at a high risk of harm. Don't look for the Liberal politicans in Los Angeles to ever push law enforcement into rescinding S.O. 40. How ironic that the police chief who opened the gates wider for illegal immigration and crime has the same name.

If the federal immigration law was good enough to enforce before S.O. 40 was conceived, it is still good enough to enforce and even more so because of 9/11. What was good intentioned 30 years ago, is no longer true. We must help Judicial Watch win the court fight which is being waged right now to kill S.O. 40. I'm tired of hearing any law enforcement agency act like "it's not my yob" when it comes to enforcing any law. People here illegally are not lining up to report crime, they never were, and they never will be. They don't trust the police anymore than they do the police in the country they are from. 08-01-06

Put these people through the same processing to get citizenship as previous people have gone through. I realize Ellis Island is not the answer, but why not have an Ellis Island type processing center in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, Texas and numerous other states to get them documented or get them the hell out of our country. And -- get them off welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing and free hospitals trips. I am going to stop now before I get more upset about these illegals.

The out of control border situation indicates that illegals have overwhelmed our institutions and have put US sovereignty at serious risk. Neither political party has the guts to solve the issue of enforcement.

Part of the problem today with this heatwave and our failing electric grid is having 30 million plus illegals in this country sucking it up ,
Its only going to get worse real fast as more of them sneak in here
