Kelley Lynch: Full Disclosure was told that LAUSD hires the biggest and best lawfirms to lobby on their behalf when they come up against the laws of the State and Federal government. In this case, even though the IRS threatened LAUSD with sanctions and penalties for the illegal expenditure of public funds on the retail portion of the development, there was no action taken. Please look at our Video Blog #5 at this URL: http://www.fulldisclosure.net/flash/VideoBlogs/VideoBlog5.php where this matter is discussed

And for even more detail, here is another very short Video providing further scoop on what was going on behind the scenes. http://www.fulldisclosure.net/flash/VideoBlogs/VideoBlog6.htm http://www.fulldisclosure.net/flash/VideoBlogs/VideoBlog5.php

Ms. Dutton, I watched the three minute preview of your Belmont piece. I have spent a good portion of my professional engineering career studying and understanding methane soil gas. I’d be happy to provide you with factual information if you are interested. And I can also give you names of other knowledgeable professional engineers if you wish. You will find that the facts are not very exciting. John Sepich, cell (213) 500-0425, jesepich@yahoo.com

Now let me get this straight: they chose a FORMER OILFIELD to build a SCHOOL upon? Sounds stinky to me! Maybe that developer had to get rid of that land somehow, and make several decades' worth of work for himself? There's no shortage of corruption to go around is there?
