Professor Fromson: Did you read Democrat Bernie Goldberg's book about Rather and the media bias? Have you read the many studies demonstrating media bias--including one done at UCLA? Do you know of the Venona Tapes which vindicate Joe McCarthy?
Most of the Professor's replies are reactionary name calling and feeling's-based.
I believe the Professor lives in an elitist bubble and surrounds himself with material and people that support his beliefs.
He's being insincere when he says he doesn't know the difference between a journalist and a reporter.
The left mainstream media bias was glaringly obvious during the Presidential campaigns, if the professor didn't notice that story what kind of political observer is he? |

My only wish is that the media in general and journalist in particular would follow your example by disclosing what is happening in local, national and international affairs and holding the various levels of American government accountable to the american people. |

I found this site preparing for an ethics class for H.S. students.
I found it informative as well as interesting, however I would like access to the complete story for the very reason presented - media bias, I believe this to be true in every presentation and want to weigh the material for myself. |

Fromson shows himself in this piece to be an elitest liberal, scocialist. The man is a professor worked for CBS and Associated Press. Of course he is liberal and he gave his liberal view in this piece. How is that "Debunking" anything. He did not "Debunk" a thing he simply was provided a platform by Full Disclosure to spout his liberal views. Give me a break Full Disclosure. |

What is needed is FULL public funding of elections! If candidates aren't bought by big lobbies, they can think about their consituents instead.
Go to www.CAclean.org for details on A.B. 583 heading for a vote in the California Assembly in January! SIGN THE ONLINE PETITION. It works in Arizona and Maine. We need a big state like California to turn the tide of this nation and save Democracy! |

the reason people buy into white house lies and spin is not because they are stupid, nor because they have short attention spans.
just turn into the local "sports" talk radio and you'll hear people discussing the most arcane information in detail
the reason people buy into white house lies and spin is because propaganda works. most people are busy managing their lives and many have little interest in pursuing the facts that underpin propaganda. So, they simply responde to the loudest and most frequent megaphone - just like Coca cola, budweiser or any other well advertised product.
How do we fix it? Make it a criminal offense for a representative of people to lie. Can it then be proven whent they lie? It will be tough, but the existence of such a law would be a great start! |

"Liberal Media" is not right-wing paranoia, it is right-wing propaganda. Much of what we hear on TV seems to be right-wing propaganda. Conservative media bias is the real problem, not liberal bias. |
