FULL DISCLOSURE SHOW  TO REVEAL DRAFT INDICTMENT ON BELMONT

Los Angeles,-CA
-Former Special Legal Counsel to the LAUSD Inspector General charged that District Attorney Steve Cooley made false statements and misrepresented the record regarding a "draft indictment" which named names of individuals who were believed to be involved in the investigation of the controversial Belmont Learning Center.

The charges were made by Roger Carrick in a two-part interview on the Full Disclosure Network® cable television program.  Carrick served on Cooley's Ad Hoc Task Force for the Belmont corruption investigation  Part-one is set to air world-wide on the Internet Monday, May 17, 2004 on the STREAMING PAGE at www.fulldisclosure.net, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, FREE, (until June 22nd) as a public service.  The programs will be shown on 40 cable systems throughout California for the next six months.

During this first half of the interview, Roger Carrick responds to video clips from a March 12, 2004 Full Disclosure Network® program where Cooley claims his Special Assistant D. A. Anthony Patchett never presented him with a "draft indictment" and that LAUSD Inspector General Don Mullinax who served on the D. A. 's Belmont Task Force investigation never named names in the course of the investigation.  Carrick told Full Disclosure "those are simply false statements. I don't know why Mr. Cooley would want to misrepresent the record."  According to Carrick and several people who attended D.A Cooley's staff meeting, the draft indictment was distributed to all those present and upon Cooley's demand, the drafts were collected before anyone could leave the room.

Emmy Award winning Full Disclosure Network® host Leslie Dutton has been conducting a series of interviews entitled BELMONT: The World's Most Expensive High School".  Costs to date for the development are $175 Million and were financed in 1997 with non-voter approved, tax-exempt bonds known as Certificates of Participation (COPs).  The Los Angeles Unified School Board has already approved an additional $110 million for remediation of environment hazards on the Belmont campus, which was built on top of 1000 closed oil wells and is plagued with methane gas and hydrogen sulfide.  The LAUSD Facilities and Safety committees are holding hearings on Belmont in preparation to complete the controversial development.

You can view the entire two-part program on our website at www.fulldisclosure.net via media streaming media.  All of the Belmont related programs are available on the website and are scheduled for broadcast on 40 cable systems over the next six months throughout California.  A channel guide with airtimes is available on the website.
