joe banana; I totally get it. I know there is not one person in our Government willing to bring truth and justice back into our lives. When President Obama gave the State of Union Address, it was apparant to me, just how removed he really is. As far as I know, there are only 49 states in the United States. California has broken off and become a Rogue state run by a large Maffia.
I'm in for whatever will bring the "giant" down.

Annette: the FBI are fully aware of this, there's been tons of evidence submitted, yet they refuse to investigate, to the point of lying on an official senate inquiry. The same with the USDOJ they lied too. Another good site, for the whole list of crimes committed by our corrupt system is "inproperinla" at Blogspot.com. It lists lots of correspondence to state, and federal officials, including the president, governor, the basil accords committee, and others, the committee on judicial performance is a joke. The Sheriff, who's duty it is to take action against these crimes, is working in concert with these criminal judges, and is therefore conspiring to commit crimes against the people of California. The ninth circuit upheld that judges can dismiss cases in which they are named as a defendant's. It's that bad. I think Col. Benjamin has the only solution, we've tried doing it the legal way, for far too long, we are out of options. And our forefathers gave us the duty, to remove a tyrannous government, by whatever means necessary, and replace it with a just one. And since the courts are our last line of defense against crimes committed against us, and they are the ones committing these crimes, we need to put a stop to this, before anymore damage can be inflicted on us. Our courts aren't a place to seek justice, they're a place to be feared, even for the innocent. Lawyers are refusing to take certain cases in Los Angeles out of fear of these judges and their rampant retaliation against those fighting for the rights of the people, so the court appoints a public pretender for the accused, and that's the end of that.

@ Courtwatch. Please work with Leslie Dutton on a report NAMING NAMES. We deserve the right to know the names of these Judges. All 2000 of them. We deserve the right to know, from top to bottom, who came up with the sudden SBX211 "Bill/Law" to make these payments legal. Every one of them.
It's extremely interesting that Marin County and San Diego County are now undergoing "audits" for Court Corruption, but Los Angeles, which is where THIS part of the corruption started has been left out. Los Angeles is the center of the septic system of Court Corruption, and the law makers as well. (Some who's spouses are Judges)
It appears that our Government is just really a large mafia. Why is Madoff in jail if these Judges aren't? They have done the exact same thing, but it's worse. He was at least caught, and stopped. There is no stopping the Government.
Leslie, please do a report, naming names of all the ones involved from top to bottom. Who drafted SBX 211, who supported it, and who is getting the payments. All 2000 names.

For those of you who are interested in the Richard Fine issues, the statistics about the judicial perks he was complaining about can be found in the Judicial Council's December 15, 2009 report entitled "Historical Analysis of Disparities in Judicial Benefits". The key statistics are in attachment D, pages D-9 to D-14. In 2008, CA counties paid a total of $30,388,289 in "supplemental judicial benefits" to their judges, above and beyond their state salaries and benefits.$23,482,932 of this total $30.3 million was paid by Los Angeles County, to Los Angeles County judges. The report does not state how much each judge receives per capita, but it states that Los Angeles County has 436 judges-- that comes out to each LA judge receiving approximately $53,860 from LA County. Richard Fine challenged the LA judges, stating that those receiving these hefty benefits from LA County should not be hearing cases involving LA County. He also claimed the payments were illegal. In 2008, a court of appeal agreed that the payments were illegal.(Sturgeon v. County of Los Angeles (2008) 167 Cal.App.4th 630.) According to the Judicial Council report (page 4), in response to the Sturgeon case, "the judicial branch sought legislation, Senate Bill X2 11".
The legislation, commonly known as SBX 211, was pushed through on an emergency basis. It allows judges to continue to receive these extra benefits, and also provides RETROACTIVE IMMUNITY from prosecution to counties paying the benefits, and judges receiving the benefits.
In other words, CA judges were taking the county benefits in violation of the law. When this was made public, the CA judiciary got emergency legislation passed, allowing them to continue to receive their benefits (while courts are being closed due to "budget constraints"), and also allowing them to escape prosecution. Meanwhile, the lawyer who had been challenging the LA bench for taking these hefty illegal perks for years, was disbarred and sent to jail, where he has been held in solitary confinement for almost a year.
The legality of SBX 211 has subsequently been challenged -- something the language of the legislation itself anticipated.
If you think this report on judicial benefits is interesting, check out the report issued the same day (12/15/09), by the CA Judicial Council's "Commission on Impartial Courts" recommending that judges be allowed to take campaign contributions from those who appear before them, and also recommending AGAINST the implementation of Judicial Performance Evaluations.
Judicial conflicts of interest, and brutal retaliation against court critics is alive and well. Judicial oversight, and justice, are not.

The situation of what Judge Yaffe has done to Richard Fine is personally troubling. I know firsthand how despicably some judges can behave. For years I have been maintaining my http://www.lawgrace.org website on which I describe JUDICIAL COLLUSION and the horrendous abuse of power. Among other things, my site portrays and proves judicial persecution because of opposing false proceedings filed in courts through use of the identities of DEFUNCT mortgage companies. [Although it is not lawful / not possible to COMMENCE a lawsuit naming a non-existent plaintiff (or having no real interest), the judges inflict TORTUROUS CONSEQUENCES upon people who oppose fraudulent judicial proceedings –as the aim is to abet IRS and Securities frauds!]
I am sickened to learn how long Mr. Fine has been wrongly sitting in prison, as well as appalled because judges like Yaffe, and those named on my website are the primary reason why people without means to afford lawyers are less likely to obtain representation. While it pains me that yet another judge is abusing his power, I pray that Mr. Fine’s situation can serve a crushing blow to judicial wrongdoings, in that public awareness will become heightened to the point of PUBLIC OUTRAGE up to Capital Hill, and there will be DEFINITIVE JUDICIAL OVERHAUL & REFORM for all court systems! JUDICIAL DEPRAVITY has become as great a reason for national concern as foreign terrorism.

Don't you folks think it is about time that we dissolve this system in California and install a system that the Founding Fathers would approve of? Yes I am talking about violent gun toting, bullets flying revolution!
Of course you can sit and allow the king to continue to rape the populace of freedom, their rights, their property and freedom of speech if you lack the intestinal fortitude to preserve the rights given us by the Founders!
The people in the 1700s did not wait this long to revolt! The people in the 1700s did not take what the people of today are allowing!
Maybe when they come for you, you will be ready to fight for your rights and your life! Only problem is that by then it will be too late, because everyone that would have stood with you will either be dead, in prison, or left the state and or country!

Leroy Baca is not a fit nor a proper person to hold the office of Sheriff. Instead he should be incarcerated himself and thrown into the general population immediately and allowed to suffer what ever may befall him!

The latest court filing from Richard I Fine, dated January 5, 2010 can be seen here;
http://www.scribd.com/doc/24888039/Richard-Fine-USDC-CivilRightsComplaint1-6-10
Now I understand why the Governor, the Mayor, Senators, Courts, Cal Bar, Judges, and basically anyone affiliated with our Government, will not investigate or release Richard Fine. Read this filing, and see for yourself. Cal Bar illegally terminated his rights to practice law, and covered it up. The Governor and friends are ignoring Richard Fine, due to a case he filed against them a few years ago, which basically shut them all down so they could not spend OUR money.
This is it, we the tax payers have been footing the bill for Corruption in our Government, and our Judicial System. Richard Fine has now taken the brunt of their retaliation for FIGHTING FOR OUR RIGHTS. Each and every citizen should be thankful there is a man out there, who has sacrificed his own freedom, to bring about truth, justice, and prove that all our human rights have been violated.
Make a stand, show support, do whatever you can, to free the man who was protecting YOU!
