Los Angeles, CA Corporate turn-around executive H. Andrew Thornburg is featured in new cable TV and Internet series on the Full Disclosure Network® addressing the issue of a national energy disaster that he says is being generated by politicians who are out of touch with reality. Thornburg describes how the current fiscal crisis now raging in Los Angeles, California and the nation is about to force elected officials and policy makers to change policies or face bankruptcy.

This five minute video preview of the first segment in an on-going series, focuses on the cause and effect of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's proposed 28% rate hike and points out the failure of past practices. He contends that unproven energy proposals to use solar panels on all municipal buildings are an impending disaster. He describes a widespread leadership failure to understand the basics contributing to a national energy emergency.

I would suggest that after paying all bills the State of California is still in the black by two billion dollars and the water board and utilities also in every state and including every state are solvent if not rich because they are using our tax money to buy up everything at fire sale prices so that 51% of all stock is owned by the Government. And they get to use this stolen money to keep us from ever again having a say in our elections via the putrid [State Election Board vs. Citizen's United]. The fact that they are using tax dollars to vote against us is bad enough The P.T.B. are traitors and liars. But they are using budget basis money to overthrow our Republic while forcing us into bankruptcy .Google C.A.F.R.S. That is only one of the monstrous secrets hidden right under our noses. Plus they spend at least a couple million a year they could right now take out of the water bill by turning of the fluoride carcinogen spigot they have been poisoning us with for a start. I estimate between 3 cities in LA county alone they waste 5 million dollars a year on ruining our water supply.

Good question, Fred. Something else to consider,The majority of DWP's sub stations, and related equipment is from the 1930's, similar to all the water mains that are deteriorating and failing daily around the city, electrical equipment can only be patched together for so long, and this stuff aint cheap. So basically, like the water shortage of the 90's, when everybody cut usage, at DWP's request, so much that they raised rates to make up for the shortfall. And, paying more for the use of aging equipment just don't make sense.
Also, the supreem court "could" redeem itself, but I really doubt it will. It's already proven beyond doubt, it's just as corrupt as the rest of the cabal. Like you said in an earlier post, the justice system in the US stopped when they denied Richards release. It makes me laugh, that Obama is getting ready to appoint another another joker to the Supreme scam. The game is over, someone needs to tell Obama. The curtain has been flung open, can't hide the failure, anymore.

Sooo......if the DWP is undercharging, where does all that revenue surplus that it gives the City Counsel for its general fund come from?

As for Richard Fine, the Supreme Court could redeem itself in the months ahead. Stay tuned.

Leslie you are indeed a prize.

Thornburg is correct. But added to his comments and concerns -- is the
way this SHOULD BE DONE. You do one or more PILOT INSTALLATIONS as a test so that you can VERIFY what it might mean and cost and produce in energy. And one other little frightening point of concernt -- IF one does GLAZE with Solar Panels THE ENTIRE DOWNTOWN OF OTHER PARTS OF THE CITY -- What will that do to the area's Micro Climate -- which actually be a MACRO climate concern considering the SIZE of the total REFECTION BACK TO THE SKY AND AIRPLANES FLYING OVER IT. GEORGE

What is the latest on Fine after the Supreems finked out?
