Los Angeles, CA As a part of an on-going series on Gangs and Gang Crimes , the Full Disclosure Network® presents an exclusive preview of Part 6 and 7 featuring retired 33 year veteran LAPD Lieutenant Gary Nanson, who was in charge of gang operations for the LAPD in the San Fernando Valley.

CRIME STATS INACCURATE:
Lt. Nanson describes how the gang problem has exploded, out of control, over the past three decades, while police officials have continued to report that crimes are down. By using inaccurate statistics and ignoring the gang evolution into major organized narcotic trafficking the culture of gangs has moved into white collar crime.

POLICE SEARCHING WRONG PLACES:
In the one hour interview Nanson details how gang members are removing tattoos, driving middle class sedans and dressing “like us” while perpetrating white collar crimes such as:

  • Identity Theft
  • Business Extortion
  • Medical Fraud
  • Credit Card Fraud
  • Counterfeit DVDs, designer fashions

GANGS ARE NOW A CULTURE. INSTITUTIONALIZED:
The culture of gangs includes the following mainstream-like traditions that are passed on for generations:

  • Gang Language
  • Rap Music
  • Gang Movies
  • Gang Fashion Clothing
  • Gang Signs

U S EXPORTING GANG CULTURE:
Lt. Nanson relates how the gang lifestyle has exploded and imported throughout the United States to other countries.

The two half-hour segments with Lt. Nanson will also be featured on over 40 cable television systems in California, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Arizona and more.

Copies of the DVDs of the entire gang series are available for purchase from the Full Disclosure Network “buy our programs” link at the top of the home page.

Suggestion to stop overcrowding jails- housing gang members & criminals using tax money from the few Americans still working.

The U S owns uninhabited islands.

CRIMINALS TO LIVE ON UNINHABITED ISLANDS

Gang members 18 yrs, criminals convicted of murder facing death penalty / life in prison without parole

Criminals 18 yrs, under 3 strikes law w/ respect to felonies i.e. Pedophilia, assault & battery w/dangerous weapon 2nd degree murder

Drug dealers 2 or more offenses

Not to include those who committed crimes when under 17
or criminals considered mentally ill or insane.

Food for the first 6 months, tools for farming, equipment and materials to build shelter Change of clothing per inmate, basic medical supplies - band aides, disinfectant, etc.

Supply helicopter makes monthly drops
Island communication by specially linked radio to warden on mainland.

Congressman John Flake survived a week on a deserted island/ millions of third world people survive daily in less than human conditions, I am sure these super-bad criminals can do it.

Of course this suggestions not perfect, but I like many others are sick and tired of the criminal element over running our neighborhoods, shooting and killing our young -
I’m blessed to live in a non violent crime ridden neighborhood, didn’t raise my children in a ‘war-zone’ neighborhood, but that doesn’t make me any less angry about the situation. I’m appalled that we, The United States of America, with all of our smarts, savvy technology and even with the bad economy, the richest industrialized nation haven’t figured out a way to punish these low-life hoodlums, and send the message to the scum in training, that we will not tolerate this any more.

I pray each night for the safety of my family, the men and women in the military, my church leaders, and those chosen to represent the people of this great nation. I awake each day and say ‘thanks’ to my God for another day and realize sad it is, somewhere in this country, a family mourns the loss of another child, not due to disease or an accident, but due to violence, perpetrated by selfish, inconsiderate low-lifes we have allowed to exist among us.

Lets clean up the garbage…Thank you

Lt. Nanson reveals to us a "behind the scenes" mentality to gang members. He makes us aware of how you can never tell what is really going on with people. We all know this is true. Gang members have tried every single way hundreds of times to stay in existence. Lt. Nanson reminds us that gangs are now trying to outsmart us by fitting in to society as a middle or upper class individual because then they become more of the norm. They don't stand out and they are no longer as big of a target. So stay aware always.

Nanson is right about gangs being more than what Bratton is telling us. I'm tired of being lied to. Just tell me the truth.

This is ridiculous! The LAPD is a GANG who have been terrorizing our community for decades. so much so that we needed a descent decree. What about Rampart! Lt. Nanson needs to address the gang problem in LAPD, something that he's experienced as opposed to theorizing about street gangs.

The truth is no one sells drugs or anything else for the "gang". Individual who claim the gang sell drugs for themselves! Why do they sell drugs, because we live a culture that has de-valued human life and would rather invest in law enforcement, who currently takes up about 80% of public safety dollar instead of investing in communities and people solving their own problems. Such a small % of so-called gang members are committing violent crime that its ridiculous to try and blame them for the crime problem in the City. The few notorious gang members have serious mental health issues unresolved. When so-called gang members commit crimes and go to jail (department of "Correction??") to pay their debt to society, no rehabilitation takes place in the system.

Gangs are nothing but sarogate families comprised of individuals who lost their nuclear family to the real killer, Poverty, which is planned and systemic in a capitalist system. Im not condoning the behavior of the few who commit violent crimes and murder, they need to be locked up and habilitated....why are we paying billions to a correction system that does no correcting! This video is RACIST and speaks to the high level of ignorance within our culture.

Lt. Nanson said, "Gang members are dressing like US", who are you! you say they are removing their tatoos to commit WHITE collar crimes? Like the crimes you do and have perpetrated against the people for decades! and who determines that someone has changed, YOU? How arrogant!

We are not looking to be validated by you or anyone else. This is a non-paternalistic movement about change and WE DONT NEED YOUR APPROVAL!

Lt. Nanson only exposes his RACIST superiority complex in this video...check your own shadow Nanson before you go talking about what you dont know. Keep exposing the lies within the department because you dont know gangs...because if you really knew , you'd speak to who really benefits from the unorganized, decentralized ignorance of so-called gangs and gang members.

Ive heard this guy speak before and he knows what he's talking about. If you want to listen to a REAL gang expert, this would be the guy to follow. Mayor Villaraigosa hired the wrong guy when he hired his gang czar (Jeff Car). The guy is worthless. Schwarznegger has a gang czar for the entire state and no one even knows who it is. They need a real gang expert. I'm tired of Villaraigosa and Braton lying to us about how gang crime is down. I live here and I know better.

This is a great subject to investigate. It's true, people don't have the slightest idea how evolved gangs are. Their sophistiactaion grows with each passing year. Just as we saw radical feminism become a power base for an industry that it created for profit. Gangs have disgarded much of their original characteristics in their pursuit of bigger money. As the "rad fems" did, gangs will insidiously grow until they become unmanagable. This has certainly happened with illegal "immigration." The three go hand in hand.

Gangs are a money making agenda
for our Elected Officials. The
money is not getting to the right
people on the bottom, the Elected Officials works with the gang
people to keep control of a community, what has three years
of Janice Hahn's Gang Task Force
done for the children of Watts,
nothing, we are still having the
killings but now it is not put in
the news. Still these housing
developments in Watts are not, will not work together, Ms.Hahn and the Mayor are using this area
as a money maker for their own
political agenda, what about the
other children that are not in gangs, nothing is done for them
