DISTRICT ATTORNEY CORRUPTION?: TWO VIEWS ON DA COOLEY’S RECORD

Los Angeles, CA Is it a co-incidence that it has been almost 20 years, since the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office prosecuted a big dollar, white collar crime? Or could it be there are no more big corruption cases or major crimes committed by powerful and prominent people in Los Angeles?

California Water Replenishment Board both contend that corruption is alive and well in Los Angeles County. Then after the closing of the case as a exception (not investigate), victims family saw in the news paper a national award for the program in Riverside and Rod Pacheco getting the award. Homicide of a 68 year old and his wife 72 were attacked. Adult protective services have also refused to even make a call on Lee Frank after several request. I read it is a legal requirement for the Sheriff to report a elder's death to Adult Protective Services which was not done. You can look up and follow this case by searching Nye Frank Racing. We still have not heard from adult protective services. The guy who attacked Nye Frank is now putting a house two doors away from victim Lee Frank 73. There has been harassment, following, threats to Frank family and neighbors, with sheriff and DA letting it happen. They say there is nothing they can do to stop it. Audio and film show the cover up but officials are doing a cover up for a DA friend.

I was impressed when Steve Ipsen came to a rally in support of Jamiel's Law. Jamiel was a promising student who was murdered by an illegal alien gang member. Ipsen sympathizes with families who have lost their loved ones, and he's tough on crime as a result. Ipsen is right when he says that the alleged police mistreatment in the 2007 MacArthur Park Mayday Melee should have been investigated. But, in my opinion, an investigation would have shown that police made the best of a difficult situation, used aggression only when necessary,(against a crowd who has a natural tendency to not follow the law, or officers, and who knew that the Mayor would back them up no matter what), and might have uncovered "scams" by demonstrators who were deceptively going for a juicy lawsuit. Cooley probably wanted to avoid this. But LA citizens deserve to know the truth. Ipsen would investigate situations like this.

Rather, unfortunateley, he has proven himself to be just another overly compensated lap dog.

Mr. Cooley has certainly seemed to have gone in the wrong direction since being elected. Why did Cooley not show up at the Gang Conference? Why does a District Attorney take money from defense attorneys for re-election? Don't you think that those same defense attorneys get that same money from the criminals that they defend? Would it really be much different if the gang cartels handed Mr. Cooley a personal check for his campaign? I think not. I may not live in LA County, but I have family that does. It's time for a change. Put someone like Deputy DA Ipsen in office who will not look the other way, and who will take on the tough cases!

I filed a criminal complaint with the Los Angeles D.A.'s Office in October 2007 against four (4) LA Superior Court judges. Therein I provided proof that two of those judges committed FELONIES in an effort to protect a corrupt attorney I was suing. I also provided evidence that THREE OF THOSE JUDGES PARTICIPATED IN A SCHEME TO DENY MY STATUTORY RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY THEM. Though the D.A.'s website states: "The Justice System Integrity Division investigates and prosecutes any allegation of criminal misconduct by a judicial officer", STEVE COOLEY FAILED TO INVESTIGATE MY CLAIMS. I later discovered that 3 of the 4 judges I included in that criminal complaint are former LA Deputy District Attorneys. Two of them joined the D.A.'s office in the early '70's, the same year as Steve Cooley. DO NOT RE-ELECT STEVE COOLEY ON JUNE 3, 2008. HE IS A CORRUPT PUBLIC OFFICIAL.

Hi Leslie. Fantastic job. If you add Steve Cooley, Ditrict Attorney, Steve Ipsen, and Albert Robles to the titles in all of the YouTube clips they will be more accessible by the YouTube search engine. Right now you can only see them by searching DA corruption. Fantastic footage.

This is why I and many others were illegally evicted and thrown out onto the streets from their affordable rent controlled apartments here in Los Angeles and new landlords who are worth in excess of 200 million dollars were given by Los Angeles City Council laughing fingernail filing member Wendy Greuel and her laughing associate Janice Hahn "extreme financial hardship" exemptions to these multi millionaire landlords. There has been something rotten in the State Of Los Angeles for a very long time.
