Los Angeles, CA What impact did the many years of Soviet Communist occupation of Hungary have on the culture and society? The Full Disclosure Network® presents a nine minute video preview from a two-part series entitled "Communism's Deadly Effects" featuring the strikingly different experience of two prominent Hungarians; one who fled to the United States as a child with his family in 1956 and one who remained and became a part of the Soviet regime that occupied Hungary.
His Excellency András Simonyi, Hungarian Ambassador to the United States from 2004-2007 and Thomas Kállay, a prominent U. S. Attorney are featured in this series providing a glimpse into why they chose their opposite paths and examining their reasons for doing so.
Here are a few points made in this series that features historical video clips of secret police legions, armed "Freedom Fighters" performing maneuvers during the six days of freedom in 1956 prior to being crushed by Soviet tanks in response to the uprising:
- Ambassador András Simonyi, tells Full Disclosure he longed for Democracy even though he remained in Hungary and that his role as a leader of KISZ a Soviet Communist youth organization and foreign minister for the Soviet regime was not a big deal.
- Thomas Kállay describes the devastating effect of the Communist occupation by citing the death of creativity in Hungary following the 1956 uprising and Soviet reprisals.
This series is to be featured on 45 cable systems starting April 14, 2008. A complete listing of channels and airtimes, by community can be found from this link.

Thank you very much for speaking the truth about Hungary at the time of the uprising and now as Hungary is pictured today. It is very sad to hear this, but I hope that your message to America opens peoples eyes to communism and its adverse affects on the world.
I will keep you in my prayers and pray that Hungary will be free again. God bless you and your family.

This is an excellent analysis of the great challenges faced by the nations of Europe under Siviet control until 1991. The legacy and consequences of communist totalitarian control have greatly damaged the culture and values of the Baltic Nations, Poland, Hungary, Czech & Slovak nations, Rumania. The nations need to rebuild their national strengths in parallel with economic progress. Developing leadership can only come from reinvigorating the principles of personal liberty, citizen participation, and patriotism.

One must UNDERSTAND that communism imprisons thought and the worker; while capitalism exploits the individual's thought and the worker. Both are equally as bad as we are seeing in the United States government's actions from Viet Nam to yesterday in Iraq and elsewhere in the world. The solution? Geniocracy; whereby only the intelligent should vote so that the brutes of the world can never rule again. We need more Gandhis and less Bushes; and we need mandatory birth control whereby no two people may have no more than two children, no matter how wealthy they are, and preferably one for the next century if this planet is to survive global warming and global diming and mass starvation.

The communist model of oppression is the favorite of the new world order elite. Americans will soon feel the velvet glove on the iron fist. Thank you for the video. We need to keep our 2A rights to protect the others.
