DRUG CARTELS TAKE OVER LOCAL POLITICS
Internet exclusive: On Full Disclosure™ Video News Preview
Video Blog Time: 9:02 min.
Release Date: November 12, 2006

Los Angeles, CA. According to 33 year veteran gang specialist and retired L.A. Sheriff's Sergeant Richard Valdemar, Mexican drug cartels have infiltrated city councils and political campaigns in many small cities in Los Angeles County. Full Disclosure NetworkT presents a FREE nine minute preview from Part 3 in a series of interviews with Valdemar covering the impact of the Mexican Mafia gangs, drug cartels and illegal aliens in American cities. Available FREE on the internet, 24/7, on demand, as a public service.

Summary of Part 3 of the Valdemar interview series:

  • Valdemar cited the following cities as having been infiltrated by the Mexican drug cartels: Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Hawaiian Gardens, South Gate, Huntington Park., Vernon, Cudahy.
  • Drug cartels set up phony businesses to launder drug money, usually used car lots, used tire shops that serve as a "front" for their operations.
  • Valdemar says it all starts when a small business, like a restaurant, is purchased by someone with drug money from Mexico, who sets up shop and starts inviting the city fathers to come for complimentary or discounted meals.
  • Then invitations are extended to local police and other government officials, until the business operator is well established, with powerful friends.
  • Drug money is used to send out smear campaign literature to destroy reputations of incumbent city council members and to finance the campaigns of challengers whose goal is to get a majority voting block on the city council.
  • Once the drug cartel controls the city council, they fire the city attorney, city manager and start giving out contracts, like the trash collection contract, to their cronies.

The entire four-part interview series with Sgt. Richard Valdemar is scheduled to run on 43 cable systems. Channels and airtimes can be found on the website.

The Full Disclosure NetworkT is known as "the news behind the news" and is an independent, educational, public affairs cable program hosted by Leslie Dutton. I can see the start of this happening in my small city. Soon this problem will be nationwide if the sheeple of this nation don't wake up and take action. Scary! Thanks for the informative video and wake up call. I never even realized this was happening here until I put two and two together after seeing this video.

I had to submit a whole new thought, as what I was recently working on, got eaten up, by the cyber world. But I am inclined to think, that we are living in times that people are simply no longer acting or thinking responsiibly. The worse part, is this is what we are passing down to our children. There are so many instances of crimes, and so many instances of abuse, both seen and unseen. It is obvious that some people just don't want to live the simple life. They want danger, they want to live as though they are on t.v. but this is with out the directors and producers, which makes it a lot more dangerous. People can't even trust friends, we are suspicious of people, cautions of acquantices, looking at co-workers,with a skeptical look. Does it make sense? I would like to think not, people want to partake in criminal activity, the state will continue to pay and prosecute, and continue to arraign and process what ever offense is committed. People will continue to gawk, and then carry on and forget what ever Joe Smoo it was. Life continues, and move on, but it is really a shame, that people are resorting to having so called "powerful friendships", the people that dedicate their lives to police, firemen, and other civil servants, have enough problems cut out for them, but worrying about who your friends are or aren't shouldn't be one of them.

I am a personal witness to this activity that has ties in and out of the system of Southern California. People need to wake up before it's too late. This is an epidemic sweeping the US. Hopefully its not too late.

Ever since our city appointed a questionable person as city manager, our community has seen a large increase of homicides, gun crimes, robberies and graffiti.

There has been some new businesses that have opened in the city by Mexican nationals and I wonder how they pay their rent when they don't do enough business in sells to cover their rent.

Odds are, the Mexican cartel is slowly taking over Monrovia.

Need to take care of this before it gets worse. Oct 28 is the date for Elections in Colombia, South American. Already there have been 69 political killings and estimates are that over half of the towns voting for new mayors are at risk for violence.
