Los Angeles, CA. - Bob Woodward defends the ethics of the news media and the practice of using un-named sources in a six minute Full Disclosure® Video Blog debate with Edwin Meese, III, the former U. S. Attorney General in the Reagan administration. This free video blog is to be launched 24/7 on the Internet website: http://www.fulldisclosure.net/flash/VideoBlogs/VideoBlog16.php. starting Monday, November 28, 2005.

Billed as "the news behind the news" this Full Disclosure® debate begins with prominent Internet Blogger Michael Williams (Master of None) describing how news reporters are seeking exemption from Federal Grand Jury subpoenas to avoid disclosing their sources. Williams also describes how such an exemption could be extended to ordinary citizens such a bloggers, providing an opportunity for widespread abuse.

Ed Meese attacked the use of un-named sources saying that the public could not determine for themselves whether the source was credible. Woodward counters the attack saying that un-named sources are tested for credibility, by the reporters. The Bob Woodward and Ed Meese video clip in this video blog, were taken from the Forum 2000 hosted in Washington D. C. by the Full Disclosure Network® entitled "The Prosecutor & The Presidency".

Hosted by Leslie Dutton, the Full Disclosure® cable television programs have been featured on 40 cable systems for the past thirteen years and the worldwide Internet website www.fulldisclosure.net since 2004. In 2002 the program was presented with a public affairs Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences entitled "L.A.'s War Against Terrorism." Channels and airtimes can be found on the website.
