Program
#419
VIDEOTAPE DATE: May 12, 2005
Los Angeles, CA According to retired LAPD Captain Kenneth
Hillman who also served as a Director of the police union,
a small group of partisans were the masterminds who reformed
the Los Angeles Police Department. "They own it"
said Hillman in describing the partisan politicalization
of the LAPD which also resulted in the Los Angeles Police
Protective League's own empowerment. Hillman told Leslie
Dutton, host of the Emmy Award winning Full Disclosure®
cable and Internet television program, that the ACLU and
the Democrats have complete control of the Police Department.

On
this part-two of the Full Disclosure® program,
Captain Hillman said that the Police union made a deal
with then-candidate for Mayor James Hahn, to support
his campaign in exchange for his approving the 3/12
work schedule for the police officers. This was accomplished
due to the union's new-found political power, which
was brought about by the partisian reforms enacted by
the 1992 Proposition "F" and other City Charter
changes in the wake of the Rodney King incident.
This
part-two will be launched on the Internet starting Friday,
May 13, 2005 running 24/7 via video streaming from www.fulldisclosure.net
along with a complete
listing of the cable channels and airtimes where the
programs will be shown for the next six months.
Full
Disclosure host Leslie Dutton has been conducting interviews
with law enforcement officials regarding police politics
and public policy since 1992.
