Los Angeles, CA. A growing number of Sheriff's and Police Officials have joined the debate over Concealed Weapon Permits (CCW) as shown in an eight minute Full Disclosure NetworkT Video News Blog featuring high ranking sheriffs and police officials of the Western United States. The video is available FREE, 24/7, on demand as a public service.
Featured in the video are Sheriff Joe Arpaio (Maricopa County AZ), LAPD Chief William Bratton, Police Lt. Don Meredith (Glendale, Calif.) L. A. County Sheriff Leroy Baca, Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona, L. A. County Sheriff Captain Ray Leyva, L. A. County Captain Ken Masse (ret), and L. A. County Sheriff Sergeant Paul Jernigan offering their strong opinions, pro and con on the need to issue CCW (concealed carry weapon) permits.
Sheriffs Sergeant Paul Jernigan stressed the need for citizens to defend themselves in times of civil unrest, citing the L. A. riots of 1992 where police and sheriffs were unable to protect citizens and their businesses. Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio goes one step further announcing his new policy, making it mandatory for all his Deputies to carry concealed weapons off duty, instructing them to use if necessary.
Some of these law enforcement officials make compelling arguments in favor of issuing more CCWs and emphasizing the need to have a "right to carry" state policies. Others, defended the need to strictly control, with penalties, citizen access to fire arms.
The Video News Blog provides a striking contrast in between attitudes in Arizona and California law enforcement policies regarding Concealed Weapon Permits (CCWs).
It is illegal to carry a concealed weapon in California without a permit. Permits are issued by the local Sheriff or Police Chief. The criteria for obtaining a CCW permit is based upon the local official law enforcement official's own policy. In most of the United States "right to carry" laws have been enacted.

Baca and Bratton are in full violation of the second amendment and should be tarred, feathered and run out of California on a rail! They are as despicable and vile as Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstien!

GOD Bless Gov.Jeb Bush (R-FL) Who changed the law to "Make My Day" law. If you feel your life is threatend you have the right to use deadly force to defend yourself. People with carry permits don't commit crimes. FBI backround check confirms your eligability. And your permit should be good in ALL states.

You ask the wrong question - Where does government properly get authority to regulate guns - or anything else? This is a serious question!
The government of a free people can not properly be imbued with any more authority that the authority Naturally imbued into any one single individual man or woman!
Voting is a crime any time the outcome is purported to require conformance of the otherwise unwilling! Such required obiedience is properly known as a police state!
How many voting men would it take to properly and democratically vote the panties off an unwilling woman?
No one can properly be required to apply for a concealed carry permit - such carry is a naturally acquired right!

Those that support to carry concealed weapons are utterly updated with our issues of future degeneration -- if some Elite Group come to eliminate many job functions, including Sheriffs and so. I'm not looking for some danger people (caused for many dangers of pharmaceutical drogs, polluted water and so, drogs all over of our foods, etc.) We have to have attention what's the intention of UN -- with New World Order. And the key word for those that need to do some research: CONSPIRACY.

I've heard reports that the better armed the citizenry is, the less crime there is. It only makes sense. Criminals are not going to rob you, enter your home, confront you in a threatening manner, if they know that you may be carrying a weapon. The prey upon the weak and those unable to defend themselves.
Recently, there was a news story about a pharmacist in Walgreens that was able to scare off two armed robbers in the store, because he was able to shoot back. The robbers turned and ran as fast as they could. Unfortunately, Walgreens decided to fire him. What? Yes, they fired him. Stay tuned on that story.

More conceiled gun carrying helps to reduce violent crime as in the states that allow citizens to be armed.

Every citizen has a right to protect themselves, not only from street crime, but from criminal acts by the government. The Constitution makes this inalienable right crystal clear. Any government official that is In favor of “gun-control,” automatically confesses that he/she does not want you to use your gun on her/him. Why would they have that fear? Well, because they know what they are doing is criminal.
