We need to come together and change California into a "Right to Carry State"

Our rights come from God, not the state. That being the case, our constitution guarantees that our God given right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED! What part of SHALL NOT is confusing to even the simplest man or woman?

Leslie, you should Re-interview Sheriff Mike Corona, now while he is in Federal Prison, supposedly.

It is a constitutional right.

I think if you take the required safety classes and qualify with a weapon of choice and a law biding citizen why not.

All you have to do is look at the news to see the killings of unarmed citizens in cities such as Oakland to realize how ridiculous California's CCW policies are.

I believe everyone should carry their firearms in the open. There is no real need to conceal. I lived in Alaska with an open carry law. It's perfectly legal to carry a pistol open in public. My wife and I found ourselves in the wrong area one day, confronted by an angry individual. I didn't have to pull my firearm, because it was on my hip open to the public and when he realized I was armed, he immediately became very civil. No incident occurred and thus we went on our way. Why should I hide the fact I am carrying a firearm?
