Acorn is back. This smells of political corruption.

How can anyone trust the Mayor after his "ticket gate" scandal which had to cost taxpayers because of the conflicts of interest with those who gave him the tickets. Transperancy should be the rule. It also sounds like a way to keep others from being able to evaluate how or if this was a waste of taxpayers money at the end of the day.

The state is broke. Most of the gangs are illegals. Use the money to deport illegals and you save money instead of spend it. You will never get rid of gangs without getting rid of the cause.

Please. This is not a "corrupt political scheme" to give money to supporters of the mayor. Detractors and distractors need to put their noisy egos aside so we can focus on healing the real problems that plague our city.

People talk and are concerned for the community.
Mr. Santich, come back for excessive anger management, gambling addiction, sexual/porno addiction rehab. Your anger upon the community is sadly misplaced and hurting the good people of San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor City and Watts. An intervention just might be in order after your latest outbursts and it is sad.

Let's concentrate on programs that change the reason kids join gangs in the first place: SOLUTIONS. Re: Anthony Santich's latest angry, false, anti-Hahn slur/letter herein, read the facts and STOP wasting our time with your angry misstatement of pertinent facts. He is an embarrassment to the entire Harbor area!

What should be important to all
of us is the effect that the
organization has on helping gang
members change that lifestyle.

Anthony Santich needs to shut up and get a life. The Fox news story was proven to be false by numerous, credible outlets. Why does he still clings to slander and anger? What a joke.

The Heimpel kid really is on to something. Good reporting, too bad he'll be laid off and driving a cab like every other print journalist in the country soon.
