LASD Sgt. Richard Valdemar (Ret.), International Gang Specialist, discusses attending a meeting in Washington, D.C. with other law enforcement professionals to lobby U.S. Senators on SB 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013.”

Valdemar expresses disbelief at the unwelcoming reception law enforcement professionals received from U.S. Senators, and their refusal to hear about the glaring problems these professionals discovered in SB 744. He described it as an eye-opener that one law enforcement individual in the group was rudely escorted out simply for asking questions, and police were called.

    I can’t comment on this without hearing exactly WHAT these “glaring examples” of problems in the bill ARE. What are they? Let’s hear some FACTS. This report clarifies absolutely nothing.
